In 1975, Bill Miller successfully designed and patented a revolutionary thermoplastic bracing system for the treatment of scoliosis. This brace was later referred to as the “Boston Brace”.
Today, BBE Healthcare continues to manufacture the Original Boston Brace. Previously a sister company of Boston Brace International Inc. and formerly known as Boston Brace Europe Ltd, the company is now under the ownership of the Camp Group of companies, consisting of Camp Scandinavia A.B. (Sweden), Tielle S.P.A (Italy), Basko Healthcare B.V (Netherlands)and Prim S.A (Spain).
BBE Healthcare continues the role of being the preferred supplier of spinal orthotic devices to the O&P field. As manufacturer of the Original Boston Brace for the conservative treatment of Scoliosis, we have developed a wide knowledge base and technical expertise which allows us the ability to offer a single source of supply for all your spinal bracing needs.
In addition to being the manufacturer of the long established Boston product range, we also provide a central fabrication capability where orthosis are manufactured either to cast or to measurements, using only the highest grade materials and all in an ISO 9000:2000 certified environment.
